In a preview for the city, director Anselma Dell’Olio presents Enigma Rol (Italy, 2023)

After Fellini degli spiriti, which investigates the relationship between the filmmaker and the spiritual and supernatural dimension, Anselma Dell’Olio’s new documentary is dedicated to the controversial, elegant and mysterious figure of the psychic Gustavo Rol, a friend of Federico Fellini and Franco Zeffirelli, considered a spiritual master by the likes of Charles De Gaulle, John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy and Giorgio Strehler.

“What Rol can do is scary. The spectator feels the sensation of a man sinking into a sea abyss without a diving suit,’ wrote Dino Buzzati quoting a phrase by Fellini.

The meeting will be led by Donato Piegari, a Rimini psychologist.
