UGO DI NOI, 100+2 ANNI DI UGO TOGNAZZI IN MOSTRA

From Friday 27 September, UGO DI NOI, 100+2 ANNI DI UGO TOGNAZZI, the exhibition inaugurated in August at the Grand Hotel as part of Simona Ventura & Giovanni Terzi’s ‘La Terrazza della Dolce Vita’, will be open until Sunday 20 October in a new exhibition hosted on the third floor of Palazzo del Fulgor, venue of the Fellini Museum.

The photographic exhibition tells the story of Ugo Tognazzi’s life, cinema, and thought. A complete journey, from his theatrical beginnings to his experience as a director. In between, an extremely fruitful professional iter, centred on his greatest passion: acting. Without neglecting his greatest passion, which made him one of a kind, cooking. The exhibition will be accompanied by a selection of theatre and film posters; show scripts and film scripts, including the first draft of ‘Amici miei’; correspondence and private objects, such as his personal diary.
Marking the relationship with Federico Fellini, which was fluctuating and never blossomed professionally (Tognazzi’s greatest working disappointment), a drawing by Federico for Ugo and an illustration in the Domenica del Corriere by Walter Molino for the production of that ‘Mastorna’ that was never made.

The project, curated by Marco Dionisi Carducci and supervised by Ricky Tognazzi, benefits from the archival support of Gianmarco Tognazzi (Ugo Tognazzi House Museum in Velletri), the Experimental Centre of Cinematography and the Luce Cinecittà Institute.

The exhibition at the Palazzo del Fulgor is supported by REEL project of the InterReg Italy/Croatia 2021/2027 programme.
